How Does Sofwave® Work?

Sofwave® uses proprietary SUPERB™ (Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam) technology to deliver controlled ultrasound energy beneath the skin’s surface. This energy creates a healing response that triggers the production of new collagen and elastin—the essential building blocks of healthy, youthful skin.

Unlike invasive procedures, Sofwave® treats the skin without damaging the outer layer, making it a convenient option for patients seeking noticeable improvement with minimal interruption to their daily routine.

General Questions

What to Expect During Treatment

Your Sofwave® treatment is performed in the comfort of our office and typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area.

A topical numbing cream may be applied to maximize comfort. During the procedure, the Sofwave® handpiece is moved across the treatment area while ultrasound energy is delivered beneath the skin. Most patients describe the sensation as a brief warming feeling.

After treatment, you can typically return to your normal activities the same day.

When Will I See Results?

Many patients begin noticing improvements within several weeks as collagen production increases. Results continue to develop over the following 3 to 6 months, with skin appearing firmer, tighter, and more refreshed.

Individual results vary, and some patients may benefit from additional treatments depending on their goals and degree of skin laxity.

Is Sofwave® Right for Me?

Sofwave® is ideal for individuals who are experiencing mild to moderate skin laxity and want a non-invasive alternative to surgical procedures. It is an excellent option for those looking to maintain a youthful appearance, improve skin firmness, and support long-term collagen health.

During your consultation, our team will evaluate your concerns, discuss your aesthetic goals, and determine whether Sofwave® is the best treatment option for you.
